Now that I think about it, you could probably easily create a similar “snapping” mechanic like the one seen in c4d within blender’s tiling concept. I’ll call it “pseudo snapping”. Maybe we could alt click the window widget, and drag it to a border between two editors. It doesn’t seem like it would be too hard for the system to collapse the editor tile you are dragging, and split a new area based on the border you drag the editor to.
