Blender 2.8 - edit external image

It seems that, apart from adding an eevee render, which cannot reflect objects in mirror materials without black magic, the useless and harmful reversal of panels by 90 degrees and the disfigurement of the interface as a whole, the developers have not added native support for drawing in third-party programs, as it has been for several years already some products from autodesk.

Is there a way to fix at least support for drawing in third-party applications?
