Since Blender 2.8 has a build-in ies-texture i decided to speed up the process of adding an ies light to the scene by coding a plugin.
This addon generates a Shader tree and loads the ies as a textfile.
UPDATE: The importer now supports .ldt files.
.ldt files will be converted on loading into .ies files. All symmetries are supported. Colortemperature will be taken from file.
Custom widget added for better light orientation.
use: shift+a → ies light
