@William thanks, but this doesn’t solve the problem, I must firsts select and after click again for drag/move
Sorry, you are right, I was confused by the icon.
We should make a better icon. It could be arrow + Move-arrows combined.
does anyone know if there is an option to change the shortcuts for cutting node connections and making reroutes from Ctrl+Right and Shift+Right click back to Ctrl+Left and Shift+Left click like in 2.79,
it just feels awkward using right click for some things when using left click for everything else.
Could anyone confirm if NLA tracks can now be left click selectable? on 2.79, when you have “left click select” NLA tracks do not react to be picked at all. You have to (temporarily) change user prefs to right click select, move the clip and then set back left click select.
I don’t why you ask instead of just trying yourself, but yes, you can let click to select NLA tracks, and also left click to select and move clips inside the tracks.
From preferences, you can change every single hotkey.
Oops I checked earlier but must have missed it, works perfectly now
It would be nice to finish the workflow though (in all areas), the incomplete nature of it has led a few people (on other sites) to go apoplectic and declare that Blender is still that terrible, horrible, no good very bad 3D app from years past.
You know hate always exist there is no 100% perfect opinions for everything ,no matter how good is blender or any other 3d package they will be always haters next to the door
Any idea how to map ctrl + right click to cut links in node editor since it’s not working for left click select?
What you mean "it’s not working?
It’s working and it’s the default, unless that you have some conflict with the node wrangler addon…
Tried load factory settngs.?
I’m inserting a reroute node when I do this. To cut the link I simply hit delete as the reroute node automatically gets selected. Works for doing many at a time as well.
Yes it’s conflict with node wrangler. When I enable node wrangler cut links with ctrl+right click is not working.
Found that hack also but it doesen’t seem natural since it requires two actions to do one thing. Same as x d for delete.
There’s no way to change the node wrangler hotkey to something else?
I have no idea, that is why I am asking
When addon is enabled, its shortcuts are available under Keymap tab of User Preferences window.
You can deactivate problematic ones or remap them.
Okay, I took a quick look… You can get the node wrangler (lazy connect) hotkey out of the way by mapping it to something like ctrl + alt + rmb… See:
That way, ctrl + right click to cut links will work just fine…
EDIT: Didn’t saw @zeauro’s post… lol… but that’s it…
Thank you all
