Blender 2.9 portable SSD setup with addons drive M

So I download the portable zip version of blender. I just did it with 2.9 - I went into windows to the C:\drive and searched for *.msc and then right-clicked on “diskmgmt.msc” it and ran as administrator. and used the utility to change my drive name to M. I want to put blender 2.9 and all its addons on a portable ssd 256 drive. I want it to recognize the location of the addons no matter what machine I plug this into. Im hoping that by renaming the drive to M it will stay at M no matter what machine i plug it into. I always make a config folder in the blend folder with the “datafiles” and “python” and “scripts” folder. Blender will then put your preferences txt file there in the config folder that I made. Any application in windows you can hold down shift and click on the icon and a second session of that application will start. So far I have been able to start multiple sessions of blender with various different versions at the same time. Maybe I am not installing it right when I use the windows installer - When I did it my preferences were coming from other installs and that won’t work. A portable setup needs to have the config folder. - And if your putting it on a flash drive that states that its usb 3 and you plug that into one of the usb ports that are labeled “ss” it will be faster. When I install blender on my systems I always put a config folder in and I never use the windows installer. I always use the portable version so that way I can use many different version of blender.

So I just copied my config files from 2.83 to 2.9 anyone else try that ?
