Blender 2.91 - Array Modifier bug?

Hi,

if I have a plane with 0 thickness the array modifier wont duplicate it in the “normal direction of the face” (?). If you know what I mean. Should I report it as a bug?

That is not a bug. By default the Array uses Relative Offset, which counts in numbers of bounding boxes. A plane has 0 thickness, therefore its bounding box’s dimension in that direction is also 0, and multiplying anything by 0 is still 0 :wink: Use a Constant Offset or an Offset Object.
