Blender 2.92 disables gpu if an update is in queue

This happens 3th time now. First time i guessed i was updating before shutdown day before and guessed it is a needed process / compile. But today the same. Last night before closing blender all was fine, and gpu was working. Today gpu is disabled and i see an nvidia update in queue.

After update blender is not starting and i have to restart:

Read prefs: /home/re/.config/blender/2.92/config/userpref.blend
Error! Unsupported graphics card or driver.
A graphics card and driver with support for OpenGL 3.3 or higher is required.
The program will now close.

System:

Linux renux 5.4.0-72-generic #80~18.04.1-Ubuntu SMP
Mon Apr 12 23:26:25 UTC 2021 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux

Nvidia Geforce 1660ti

Why is blender force me to update the gfx driver? Is this a normal behavior?

Are you sure Ubuntu doesn’t update packages automatically? Updating the nvidia driver requires a system reboot.
When that happens again, you look at the end of apt history/log file if you find nvidia related packages:
/var/log/apt/history.log

If you find these packages there then it means that they have been updated.
