Blender 2 XBOX

So is there a way to create a game and/or script that will allow for xbox coding?
I’d love to just try and create a game and then pop it into the Ol’ Xbox.
Any ideas?

Well you could always go to Microsoft and by a license to allow you to legally code for it.

The official development kit is the XDK, but you can only used it if you’re a developer licensed by microsoft, otherwise it’s illegal. However the modding community has started it’s own version, called OpenXDK which is legal to use

How can it be any more legal than using the actual XDK?

i just googled OpenXDK and it only works on modded XBOXs
hes the site i went 2 ,so either way you’ll have to spend some money…

Because not paying for the dev kit and pirating it off the internet is illegal, while using a free alternative is legal.

Similar case as using Blender rather than pirating Max/Maya/Lightwave.:stuck_out_tongue:

hey, what about reverse engineering the xbe code? I’m sure you could get away with it. then just make a windows executable and run a converter you make to turn it into an xbe, and well… you could face lawsuits, or the applaud of a lot of people. Or both. Risky? yes, but so is life.
