Blender 3.4.1 didnt update 3.2?

I finished my long project and thought of upgrading to the latest stable, which it seems to be 3.4.1, from my 3.2

now i remember previous versions were straight upgrade but this time i see a separate app install as 3.4 ?

before whenever i updated and opened the default blender icon i got the new splash screen with “load previous settings” and done.

Is 3.4 a separate app now?

Usually blender “detects” a previois version and asks… but (whatever): Try to delete the config for 3.4 and start blender 3.4 again…
