Blender 3D Game Design Summer Camp for High School students

Brandeis University is offering a 2 week game design camp this summer for high school students where they will learn to build 3D games using Blender. Here is a link to the website for the camp

   http://www.brandeis.edu/highschool/3dgaming/index.html

I will be teaching the content of the camp using a GameKit model in which they are shown how to modify particular parts of working games (e.g. avatar control in a racing game, or python scripting to create 3d levels, or object manipulation to create a Rube Goldberg machine).

I don’t know if this is the right forum to announce this summer camp, but I’d love to help Blender capture a larger share of the High School 3D Game Design summer camp market. If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to contact me at [email protected]

I’m not assuming any previous experience with Blender for this summer camp, so if you know any high school kids that might like to spend 2 weeks deeply immersed in creating Blender games with other teens, please forward them the link! I’m also making some of the gamekits available on this website

   https://sites.google.com/a/brandeis.edu/3d-game-design

if you want to try them out (Feedback is welcome!).

I wish I could be there, but I don’t think I’m in the right country!
