Blender 3D Objects in Flash MX

Is it possible to import 3D objects (made with blender) into Flash MX and then manipulating them to make a movie :-? ?

i would believe not… because flash is sorta like a 2d program right? i dont use flash, but i have used it before, and i believe not, flash is more like photoshop than blender

I’ve heard that it can be done, but I’ve never tried it myself…

You can get 3D models on Macromedia Director, and publish interactive content via the Shockwave web plug-in. I once got a few Maya scenes into it, but I found it to be bug prone (the final product crashed a few machines while playing).
You can also use the Blender game engine ;).
If you get content into Flash it has to become 2D.

It’s a swf exporter for blender. It might not work since it uses python 2.0, but you might have a base to start from on which to update the script if you’re good with python code. If not, you might get someone to do it for you, if there is enough interest for such an updated script.

Does that just play a movie file in a flash file or does it use an actual blender model?

I tried many swf export script, but unfortunately none is… ADVANCED enogh… but I still download and try to support the developers…
so that I can someday save myself from the trouble of exporting into a DXf and then importing into Swift 3D and then exporting the Swf…

of course… that only makes a flat vector image… you can animate them and stuff…

showwave DOES allow true 3D…
