Blender 4.2 Eevee Next - artefacts when setting normals to face upwards

I am trying to get rid of the strange artefacts when I am setting the mesh normals to face upwards in Eevee Next (Blender v4.2). I didn’t have this problem with previous Eevee version. Would anyone know how to tackle this please?

This looks like a bug, I can easily reproduce it myself:


High-quality normals and raytracing don’t have any effect, so I don’t think there is a simple fix for the moment.
If you have the time and/or really want the issue fixed, I would suggest looking into a bug report. If you do, make sure to follow the instructions carefully and check no one else has filed the bug already.
