Blender for windows compiled x64 opens but doesn’t render in the current revisions.
Any idea?
It’s a bug, I have the same issue. 32-bit works fine (on Windows 7).
You should file a bug report.
Also, an annoying bug, in case anyone hasn’t seen it. If you have a texture of 4096x4096 applied to a mesh and a material, when ever your render, the image is displayed in the render buffer with some transparency and won’t go away, regardless of what you do. I’ll file a bug report soon.

I just submitted a bug ticket for this. 27258 works okay, but 28521 freezes. And I also confirmed that 32-bit works okay, too.
