Here is a patch and bf-blender builds ( if you dont want to patch ) with a few thinks i have been working on with the text editor.

Under Edit->Select i added Indent/Unindent, Comment/Uncomment
used with text highlighted. -
Tab Setting ( menu bar of text editor )
sets the number of spaces a Tab is == to -
auto indent
