Hi, Just simple question : what is the proper addon for creating for example hundreds of bug crawling on wall. Where the bugs can make a contact with the surface like walking or crawling on a bumpy surface.
Well…
there are flocking simulations within particles. You can either have the particles fly or just walk, walk and jump… they tend to act more like people on a hill than bugs on a wall, but it should be OK depending on how bumpy your surface is.
I do hope this will get an update for 2.8

This might be a use case for boids. They are originally used to create birds but are often used for hordes of animals in general. I don’t know whether they support crawling on walls, but if it does it would be the perfect blender inbuilt solution.
