my netflix point wasn’t about cycles but vfx in general. you can pick holes all day long in almost any cg work. its all on a budget these days and you can tell. but if the audience is worried by that you’ve lost them anyway! peace!
CGI is just a tool to do things that look crap using other techniques. Or, reduce costs.
