Hi,
I’m trying to make an animation where at one point, the flashlight disappears! I got the object, closed the eye in outliner, and pressed “I” to keyframe it. However, when I press play, the flashlight remains. Any way to fix this? If you need the file, let me know.

What are you trying to animate ? A flashlight object or the light from a flashlight ?
I assume this is not for the game engine
eye icon = object visible/not visible in viewport
camera icon = object renderable / not renderable
With curser over icon press I to keyframe the state at the current frame. The icon will turn yellow to indicste it is keyframes on the current frame
Change to a different frame and repeat

As I stated, I keyframed my eye and camera on different keyframes just like you said in your reply. Yes, I am trying to animate the flashlight object, not light. Lastly, I don’t know why actually. xD
