Blender array does not recognize curve direction

Wrong direction. Does not work

Fit curve only makes it array to the length of the curve, it will not follow the curve. You have to choose which direction you want the array to go. adding a - (example : -1000 offset) will make it go the other direction.

If you want it to follow the curve, you will have to add a curve modifier.



I add a curve and it does this.
I applied scale. I am doing something else wrong now. curveaddede.blend (493 KB)
This was a ball like above when I added the curve modifier it did not stay a ball it became a pancake.

You need to disable “radius” in the curve menu (which you enabled)


Also an extra hint: Make sure your object and the curve have the same origin point, that way the object will follow the curve more precisely.
