I love Coffee, but lets be real here: if you have no qualms with bribing people with performance increasing drugs, why not go all the way and make it a Cocaine Box?

I’ve always wondered why they call they call the country The Netherlands, when it’s right smack in the middle of everything.
With a name like that, you’d expect it to be, like, way the hell over there. But it’s not. It’s just right there.

I have to admit to my embarrassment, that
a) I know that they are in the Netherlands
b) I know what a coffee shop is,
I still failed to make that connection. 
BUT my point still stands, as I was talking about performance increasing drugs.
Neatherland is more related to underneath in englisch. It means in the lower river lands near the sea.

…I guess I should consider that they named all these places back before there were any cars or planes around, and BARELY any boats.
Only in English. As modern Englisch changed the meaning of some older germanic words. Its perfect understood in other germanic languages.
