Blender being slow after a computer upgrade

I recently upgraded my computer and now when I try to use (middle-mouse + shift or middle-mouse + drag the mouse) it freezes up and has to “think” for a second before actually doing the action. This never has happened before and I was wondering if anyone knows a fix, thanks :yes:

New specs

CPU – FX-8350
Motherboard – Gigabyte 990fxa-ud3
Graphics Card – 7950

what version of blender, OS etc… do you have the latest video drivers etc.

I seem to recall that from my latest hardware upgrade…
Make sure the chipset drivers are installed correctly.
