I just bought the Blender Gamekit book and have some questions.
I downloaded the latest version of Blender, and found out that it doesn’t include some of the features of Blender Publisher. I was able to download and install the Publisher version, but it leaves me a bit worried.
My primery interest in Blender is the game aspect of it. Given the time it takes to learn a bit of software like this, I’m wandering if it is wise to invest it in software that may not be further developed. Years ago, someone callet this zombieware. Anyway, does anyone know if there is a reasonable probability that these features may be incorporated into new releases of Blender?

yes, there is a high chance that it will be include in future release. Many developpers are working on it as we speak.
