Blender closes without warning/error when trying to render with OpenCL

Not sure if this is the right place to post this, if it isn’t I’m very sorry.

I’m trying to render with GPU and when I click render it says "Loading Render Kernels (may take a few minutes the first time). Nothing happens for a few minutes, then all of a sudden Blender closes itself without any warning or error messages. The only thing that seems wrong is when I start blender, the cmd prompt window that opens before the program says “Failed to set 44100hz, got 48000hz instead”. Could that be the problem, or is it something else?

Blender Version: 2.75a (hash: c27589e - don’t know if that’s important)

System Info:
Dell Inspiron 15 3000 Series
OS: Windows 8.1 64 bit, x64-based processor
Processor: AMD A6-6310 APU with AMD Radeon R4 Graphics 1.80 GHz
RAM: 8GB
Hard Drive: 1TB

Edit I’ve been told the Radeon R4 is GCN-based and equivalent to the AMD Radeon HD 7470M. This would lead me to assume it would work with OpenCL, seeing as it requires GCN and the 7000 series is supported. Am I wrong?

Apparenty this card is not supported, even though the specs would lead me to believe it is. Hopefully as OpenCL and Blender grows more and more cards can be supported. This thread may be closed.
