I managed to get Blenders VR scene inspection (using OpenXR) to stream over the network to an Apple Vision Pro headset. Up to now all I have seen is people managing to stream the entire interface as one single window pane. This is a true and traditional VR stream with spatial interaction.

The development was not too difficult to be honest. I just had to make sure my OpenXR runtime was pointing at my CloudXR environment. So technically Blender thinks it is streaming to a device attached to the workstation.

On the client side all I needed was a rough cloudXR app on the AVP to connect IP address too.

There are a few glaring issues which I want to explore more:
Sampling does not seem to matter inside the VR scene inspection addon. I cannot get it looking smooth.
Cycles is blocked from streaming it’s render layer over OpenXR. I can access Wireframe, Solid, Material Preview and EEVEE. If Cycles could be unlocked this would improve visual quality a lot.

I am particularly interested in the upcoming DLSS integration in the viewport. I think this will provide a lot of value for production studios (Thinking about Automotive OEM for example) to be able to review surfaces made in Blender on the Vision Pro.

Happy to answer any questions about it and more than happy to provide more information.
