I read the list of video cards under development on the Blender website, now I’m VERY CONFUSED!
they list the supported motherboards and (video cards?) also under development to work with Blender. Is there nothing for the i7 processor? Nothing for the NVidia 295 video card?
I’ve been planning on buying this great system for a while, but now I’m wondering if Blender will work for me.
Also I read somewhere about a new release 3. something coming in October, but this news is nowhere on the website now…or maybe it’s hiding?
It’s my understanding the most important aspect of a driver card is that it is OpenGL
and the new software will take better advantage of the card if it is OpenGLSL.
Can you provide a link to what you read?
