blender compiling under mandrake ppc 8.2

how do you get blender compiling in linux mandrake ppc 8.2?
when i type make it comes up with afew errors about being unable to find some paths in my home directory.

try this: http://www.linux.ucla.edu/~phaethon/blender/blender-autoconf.html.

I’ve downloaded the tarball yesterday and typed just ./configure&&make in my shell and all the things build very well.

Make sure that you have installed all the needed Header-Files!!

i tried to compile and it compiled for about half an hour then it said some errors about qudratics:

GNUquadraticdel
GNUquadraticnew
etc.

what does this mean and how do i fix it?

does any one have the 2.25 binaries for mandrake PPC 8.2
