Blender Conference 2016 videos (links)

Is the UV talk available somewhere yet? You guys have sparked my curiosity.

+1, same for the addons !

What Addons?

Develop add-ons like a pro and UV unwrapping gets an overhaul

Really interested on the UV overhaul, please someone give us more information about that.

keynote was deleted, no videos on youtube yet

Oh, keynotes deleted? Then I think we have to wait a bit. But for the guys looking for info 'bout the UV-thing…
There might be some valuable hints in former posts. Right inside this thread;.)

the UV talk was great, when the review is done and its in the master builds
(maybe additionally with the new packing system from the GSOC 2016),
Blender for sure has leapfrogged and is again the go-to solution for my UV needs.

mStuff’s Twitch account still has the streams online. The UV talk is on this stream at 5h:00m.

Happy to help,
I am streaming day 3 now, if anyone needs it at some point

why are the movies removed from youtube ?.

Maybe quality/compression was bad. Those things take some time to process. Hold on, everything will be on YT in upcoming days.

This was an amazing BCON this year,

If you missed any of the content from the Theater stream and can’t wait for youtube to catch up, you can watch all of it from twitch at these links:

Day 1:
www.twitch.tv/mstuff/v/97569484 (starting at Making of Saurora - Visual Effects)
Day 2:
www.twitch.tv/mstuff/v/97758739 [Part 1]
www.twitch.tv/mstuff/v/97766538 [Part 2]
Day 3:

Looking forward to see all the stuff happening in Blender in the future.

Agreed, it was an excellent BCON, with tons of really interesting and exciting talks (from a Blender future perspective). Thanks for the streams - I watched most of BCON on your Twitch channel

No problem, happy that you liked it.

I hope next year BF will set up a similar stream service where people can chat around while watching

I updated the original post with links to each talk.

I hope people can make use of it temporarily until they are uploaded to youtube.

Hi mStuff, thank you very much!
I know it is a lot of work and I appreciate.

Cheers, mib

I was one of the people who got a little bit mad when ton made fun of wireframes but now since I know what they meant…
