I just wanted to give a huge shout out to those who came out to the blender conference this year. It was my first experience at a blender conf and I couldn’t have been more impressed with the content and the community there!
Such an an incredible gathering of developers and artists - everyone was extremely friendly and excited and passionate about blender and what’s coming in the next few years.
im already planning on coming back again next year, and am excited to do another presentation!
Thanks to the entire community who made me feel like part of the family.
Awesome! I’m still sad I couldn’t make it there this year but I’m glad to hear you all had a great time - and I can’t wait to catch up with your and everyone else’s presentations on YouTube once they land there!
Just watched Jason’s presentation. Pretty freake’n awesome! It looks like it has a lot of potential. I’m actually really excited to use it.
I’ve looked at the Nimble Collective site before but I’ve never seen anything that actually shows how it works. I’d love to know more about that: How does it organize files? Does the user have to pay license fees for software like, Nuke or Maya? what type of hardware is it running on? Can you use GPU rendering? What type of render management is available? what’s the cost (per hour? per month sub?) etc.
