blender controls on mac

hi

i just changed from windows to imac and im struggling to figure some of the controls.

the main one im atuck with is loop select, i have tried alt and cmd

Loop select is Alt+RMB on an edge

i tried alt cmd and click on edge but didnt seem to select it

cmd is not used for loop select. As I said above it’s Alt+RMB

Hmm

Strange, I tried just alt but that doesn’t work.

I am only using a 1button mouse and have it set in Blender to emulate a 3 button mouse.
