I’m exploring the fabulous Blender Cookie Flex Rig, and am wondering what’s the correct way to shorten the characters legs? There are custom sliders in the rig for all kinds of body properties, but not the leg length.

Under the Vertical group, adjust the Hip Height to change the leg length in relation to the overall body height. That’s about all you can do, but if you approach your character design with that as a first step and then set the overall character height, you should be able to get exactly what you’re looking for.
Ah, it’s the Hip Height slider! I thought that slider controlled the vertical scale of the hip, not the vertical position.
