Hello guys, how are you?
I’ve had problems lately with blender when it comes to render hair and fur. It works completely fine with the first two or three render tests, but then it suddenly runs my system completely unusable… everything freezes and the only thing I can do is force it to restart… I´ve tried with several versions of blender and the same happens everytime. Tried with my wife’s pc and the same happens with it.
I even tried creating only 10 hairs with 10 children, using the lowest render settings and it still freezes at the third or fourth render test… And the “strand render” option is always activated.
I have a PC running Win7 with an Intel Cuadcore processor, 6GB of RAM and an Nvidia GTX 460 videocard.
Does any of you know what is the problem here? Any help will be GREATLY appreciated.
