Blender all the sudden refuses to run. It gives an error that says it cannot find ur_win_proxy_loader.dll in the Blender folder.
Yesterday it was fine. I didnt install any addon recently. I didn’t install anything on the computer at all.
I tried running sfc /scannow in the cmd. Reinstalling blender. I updated my driver. Restarted my computer. Nothing seems to work. The last version I can start is 4.1. Anything newer crashes.
Hi there,
From some research it would appear that this DLL is associated with Intel’s Unified Runtime, do you have an Intel CPU or GPU? If so I would suggest updating the drivers of your CPU / GPU.
You could also try resetting your Blender configuration, to make sure it’s not a corrupted file.
The file is not present. It is also not present in the 4.1 version. However that file might be hidden. Right now I cannot show hidden files because a bunch of features are missing on my file explorer and I have no idea how to access them. Very strange. The entire ribbon menu is missing and there is no button or arrow or anything to bring it back. I have no idea why this is happening.
I did a restart… again. The ribbon is back in the explorer and blender runs now. Thanks for helping. Unfortunately I dont know what caused this still. So if someone has the same problem just try everything and restart like 3 times.
Windows update probably fudged something then. Maybe try uninstalling and reinstalling the Windows update as a last resort, could also be that there are some updates still running in the background that are not done.
