Hey
I know that specularity and glossiness is depending on the camera view, so baking it is pretty hard, but is there any workaround?
I’ve come across this post, https://developer.blender.org/D555#e5e58702 but I have no clue how to implement it or even if this is what I’m looking for.
I want to backe a interrior scene, with cicles, but when I do, the speculaity and glossiness is missing.
Maybe someone can help me.
tanGGhost if the link will do it can’t that be incorporated in Blender for us non techno types. Then again baking is not used in stills so I’m trying to visualize a glossy floor with a moving camera.
I have such a floor with a level camera about 5’ 5" above it. Probably the worst scenario for baking glossiness. Hey, it simply can’t be done if I want to keep it glossy. So I’m baking the walls and other objects for animating and will just have to clamp the render. Letting the floor drive up the render time. We only have the two choices right now. Although I haven’t played around with a specular map which could maybe help? Regardless I will keep my eye on your thread here.
