Blender (Cycles) - Set permanent bake output / per material

Is there a way to set blender to permanently bake material output to image texture? For ex.:

I have material node A - image texture + diffuse node to output, and if I want to bake that setup to another image texture I have to create another node of image texture and leave it !active! == “clicked”. But that’s a really complicated and messy way.

What I need is to tell blender: here is node setup with source texture, bake it to this image no matter what texture I have clicked “activated”.

I think the BakeTool addon does that
