Blender Deletes All Bones

I’ve been having problems with a mesh imported into Blender. At first, everything seems fine, but after deleting some bones, Blender will eventually delete all the bones, leaving only the armature itself, but no bones.

I’ve attached a .blend file to this post. All you have to do to recreate it is press Tab twice (enter, then exit Edit Mode).
MTA - Daisy.blend (4.9 MB)

Bones, in Blender, cannot have tails at the same locations as their heads. The head->tail vector determines the +Y axis of the bone. I suspect that tabbing into edit then tabbing out prompts recalculation of bone inverses, which are incalculable with 0-length Y axes (they could point anywhere.) If you didn’t do this yourself, then whatever application you used to import the bones is doing it wrong. Don’t put the tails at the same locations as the heads.

Ok, thank you.
