Blender Development Fund

The original scenario I proposed was that the game would be a blend file and not a direct modification of the game engine itself, as a direct modification would require it to be open-sourced. I understand if the blend file and the blender executable are bundled together in the same binary executable, then the blend file would have to be open-sourced. I don’t mean to turn this thread into a discussion of licensing, other than just verifying, it is possible to have a closed-source game or a proprietary game with the scenario I just mentioned.

Alright, I’ve been doing some more reading and I see what I’m getting at. Well, good thing Blender is under GPL and not BSD.
