ive installed and re-installed countless times now, but blender 2.492 that im running just doesnt see python at all, i want to import models from makehuman, so i really need the scripts to work.
blender says at startup
“compiled with python version 2.6.2.
‘import site’ failed; use -v for traceback
checking foe installed python … No installed python found.
only built-in modules are available. some scripts may not run.
continueing happily.”
can anyone help me fix this problem please, ive installed python 2.6.2. on my computer but still same results :L
im running windows 7 home premium 64 bit if it helps with 32 bit version of blender.
Did you install the 64bit version of python?
yeah i did, ive tried it with both 32 and 64 bit versions but blender still doesnt see it, i would try with 64 bit pyhon and 64 bit blender but theres no .exe for the 64 bit version of blender 2.49, any other ideas what could be the problem?
