Blender EEVEE 4.1 Alpha Blend transparency confusing in different render views

Yoo, im a blender user since endings of 2024, i use Blender 4.1 because its comfortable for me, but anyways.

There´s this pink crown on this countryball model i maked, and I want those 16 small spheres with solidify modifier see through each other, like a neon effect, alpha blend with backface culling is the only way to get this outline-only effect with the modifier.

Previously, they were united into a single mesh, so the effect just dont work, so i separated them apart and adjusted the origins of each one to get it work.

In the Real-Time Viewport, it works exactly how i want it to be.

Oh, but both the Render Viewport and the final render, doesnt work good, in fact, it seems like it depends on how the camera is located, even the FOV of it affects the effect, if i get the FOV or all the camera very close enough, or if i put it in other angle, the effect works again.

Someone has an idea of how to make this thing work good in this version? i´ll be waiting.

I cannot tell what you’re trying to say is the problem area. Please draw an arrow or something, to point to it.

Well, I’d say it’s when the rear sphere aligns with the front one along the camera. I say that because I also plan for the crown to rotate all the time on Z axis.

Welcome!

If you want rings that are visible through each other, why not make them as actual rings rather than using a transparency trick? You could model flat rings and use a track to constraint to point them at the camera.

Or is there something more to the effect that would prevent that from working in your scene?

wow,I was just thinking about that about 3 days ago, I was simply trying to fix that problem with the spheres, but now that you’ve explained it to me, and I already knew it, you’ve given me an idea, thanks!
