Superbright is seeking a mid-level Blender artist to be responsible for creating 3D content, primarily environments, for a variety of projects ranging across XR (VR/AR/MR).
Responsibilities
- In this role, you will be an integral part of our CG team, working with our internal creative and engineering teams to build content for virtual environments, augmented reality, and mixed reality projects.
- Work closely with the CG Lead to craft 3D environments and assets at the highest quality for use in real-time engines
- Create and deliver kick-ass 3D assets, animations, textures, and effects
- Interpret creative briefs, internal, and external feedback to continually improve 3D asset deliverables
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience with 3D pipelines (such as gltf) and workflows for preparing assets for implementation in real-time graphics engines including Unity and Unreal Engine
- Experience with ZBrush and Substance Painter preferred
- Python scripting a plus
- Familiarity with animation and motion graphics software such as After Effects a plus
- A sharp eye for lighting and texturing and a drive to achieve the best possible quality on tasks large and small
- Strong attention to technical detail
- Ability to work both independently and with a team to solve problems efficiently and effectively
- Cross-discipline collaboration and communication. A true team player working with designers, artists, programmers to create compelling experiences.
Details
3-5 days per week on an ongoing basis for 6 weeks, with the possibility to extend.
Preferred hybrid in London, but open to remote on a case-by-case basis within the London or NY time zones.
