Blender fluids problem: Working with obstacles
Setup: DOMAIN, OBSTACLE (the bucket), and FLUID (selected).

Trying to get some fluid to stay in the bucket.
The bucket is solid walls,
fluid is released within the bucket, but its somehow getting thu.

It renders like this.

Any ideas whats wrong with the obstacle?

Try following: uncheck the ‘Hide Fluid Surface’ in the domain options. Switch volume init of the obstacle to volume. Rebake.

What is the resolution of your fluid simulation ? if you have low values like 50-60, fluid can penetrate obstacles. Also, the bucket, which is the yellow object i assume, has to be put as shell for obstacle, not both (shell and volume). Try using shell only and see what you get, with a 100-120 res for fluid.
