Blender freezes when using knife

Good afternoon ! The program freezes when using the knife. What could be the reason?

It could be almost everything: from having too much polygons in your scene (if your PC can’t handle it) to problems with your software and/or hardware.

It is nvidia geforce RTX 2070

Intel(R) Core™ i7-3770 CPU @ 3.40GHz 3.40 GHz

Windows 10 Pro .

I tried to cut a cube. There are very few polygons there. But after using the knife, each time the program freezes and does not ask to switch from Edit Mode

Try a different version of blender. :thinking:

Yes. used 3.5 and 3.6 . And in both the problems with knife and knife project.
