Everything is good in the game engine, but i just wanted to know, just like increasing the resolution in the render tab would increase the quality of the render, is there a setting for increasing resolution in the game engine. My problem being that everything looks a little “not straight” outline wise, for example, it’s like when you use the line tool in microsoft paint, and its not exactly straight, it gets all edgy, well that’s how everythings’ outline is when i start the game engine. Any, and i mean ANY, help would be appreciated.
Those jaggy lines are a result of aliasing. Many games avoid this these days with anti-aliasing (commonly abbreviated aa). As of right now, the BGE is sadly lacking anti-aliasing. However, if you are brave enough to build blender yourself, Moguri has made a patch to enable anti-aliasing for the blenderplayer (save as run-time games).
Like Kupoman said the BGE does not support aa while running blender, however, if you save game runtime and run your game externally your video card can provide the aa for it!
