I had almost all of the infocom series. They were state of the art games back then. My favorite was Hitchhikers guide…
Even that kind of game can be wonderful, you could make some cybernetic effects behind more console-kind font, or these letters changing to picture they describe. Still I will be surprised if Andrew won’t honour this project, as you made this even better than real ZORK
Hello everybody. Here is my entry for the contest:
I’ve been looking to Blender Guru competitions for too long… It’s time to participate
Ah place57,
We totally had the same idea, but I was thinking, “It is pitch black, you will likely be eaten by a grue”
Got to love us old infocom fans! On a side note, it took me for ever to get across the water duct before it collapsed…
hey, cool idea! looks good
Mother of Susane! I won’t belive that it’s not game screen if I wont see .blend … Amazing work Matou!
Wow! Thanks a lot for that nice comment Actually I used screenshots as references. Just to show the scene (the mess? ) in blender:
Wow good to see how you solved it, it is outstanding!
Going Retro…My very first video game (except for pong). Updated the video game screen too.

Hello,
Is it allowed to combine 2 games or characters from different games like say Mario an Sonic. Do you have to make a sort of an in game image or can it be just a scene with no reference to the game just the characters.
Hope you can give an answer on this
Thanks already.
Hi all. This is my first ever post since I am basically a Blender N00B! It is also my submission. Image was done completely in Blender with minor compositing, in Blender as well. I used one image for the environment lighting. Comments and critiques are welcome!
My entry:
Not sure if ill change it before the deadline or not.
