Blender import collada from Daz Studio

Hello, I’m trying to import a dae file from Daz Studio into Blender. For some reason when in import the character, his “parts” are in a different location and in a different pose. Is this a blender plugin problem or a problem with an export setting? Thanks for your help!

i’ve got the same problem when exporting from google sketchup to DAE and then importing the DAE into blender.
Been trying and googling a lot but still haven’t found what it could be.

All I know is that the best and almost only way to go from Daz Studio to Direct X is to buy another $99 addon which is outrageous. So what I have been doing was exporting to dae and then importing to blender, but if there are multiple objects then I exported them all separately and use parents to control them together. Its a horrible workaround lol.
