Blender Just, dies...

Well, I’m using Ubuntu 7.04, a linux distro, and when I try to do ANY render, it dies at random, it just quits. Does anyone know what’s going on?

Here’s what comes up i the console.

[email protected]:~/blender$ ./blender
guessing ‘./blender’ == ‘/home/wydra/blender/./blender’
Compiled with Python version 2.5.1.
Checking for installed Python… got it!

Anyone? I really would like to see what’s wrong.

Umm, I’m running a ATI Radeon Xpress 200M, in windows, I had to turn the acceleration down to get blender to run smoothly, BTW, the blender .deb works fine, no problems.

hmm, ok then, well I’m trying to get gusty to work on my hp laptop, all the text is showing p as white boxes now, terrific.
