Blender Keeps Crashing (Windows 7)

Hi all,

I just got myself a new PC for Blender and when I am running the software it keeps crashing on me every so often. It is becomming really frustrating!

PC Specs:

Intel Xeon E5 2.7Ghz
2x nVidia GeForce GTX 780 3Gb graphics cards
16Gb RAM

All the nVidia drivers are up to date with the latest. Computer functioning fine without any hiccups. SLI disabled on GPU’s. I have also uninstalled Blender and re-installed but still the same problem. I am running Blender 2.68 and it runs just fine on my iMac.

Any help would be appreciated!

Sorry, error message is “Blender Has Stopped Working”

Hi, hm, crash with every file? CPU or GPU rendering?
Is it 32 or 64 Bit Windows?
If it is on GPU is your power supply strong enough for two GTX 780?

Cheers, mib.

Hi,

Yea, crashes with every file. It does in random places, but also quite often in rendered view.

I have it on GPU rendering, experimental features (also tried supported), Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit. Power supply is a 1200W Corsair AX, so should have plenty of power available for the GPU’s.
