Blender keeps crashing

Hi everyone,

I am trying to give Blender a second shot and learn the software to do some engineering modeling on it. The first time around I didn’t take it seriously, but now I feel the need to learn it.

Anyway, I am having problems with Blender right off the bet. I installed the software and and started to follow the Snowman Tutorial on under “Getting Started” and as soon as I got to step 4 Blender crashed. I continuously try to complete this tutorial and I get a little bit further every time I open Blender but it then crashed again in 5 minutes of manipulating the software.

I have no idea what is causing it, it seems to be different things that are triggering the crashes. It has crashed when i added a cone, when I zoomed all the way in, rotating objects, selecting objects, flipping from front to side view and so on.

Any help would be fantastic! I’d really love to learn Blender if it didnt crash so much.

Hope that helps…

Might be a problem with the integrated Intel Graphics or the Driver.
There are more Macbook Users with problems, you should search the Forum.
I remember there were some threads on this topic.
