Blender kills my new iMac

Hi All,

In a fit of being nice to myself I bough a new 24" iMac (yes the nice new shiny one:yes:) with MAC OS X Tiger 10.4.

I have installed the version of python that shipped with the Introducing character animation with Blender and version 2.4.4 of Blender.

Blender loads ok, but as soon as I try to access the special menu via the W key I get the spinning multicoloured wait cursor and then my Mac hangs!.

Please help!.

P.S. I’m a Mac newbie so if it’s something technical please explain in detail:)

Please be less approximative when reporting bugs or issues (help others to help you):

  1. Which version of python is that? 2.5 is fine, 2.4 may work (but probably not,
    depending on where you downloaded that blender).

  2. Blender 2.4.4 doesn’t exists, is 2.44 what you’re talking about?
