Since I first got the BMG script, there’s been two releases of blender. I just now went looking for my Mechanical Gear script I had downloaded, and despite it being in the scripts folder, its no longer in my scripts menue.
Whats the deal? Is it because of the new Blender? Has BMG script been updated?
latest i have is 0.0.2 from Nov 2004.

I assume that after installing the new version of Blender, your scripts are no more in the good directory, because each install contains or creates its own script directory.
You could also check your path in the User preference window, and refresh the Script list in the script menu…
Some ideas to check…
