As in title, i’m using 3.4.0 with new hair system, and time before frame even start rendering is hilarious. There are not that many of those hair particles, maybe like 20 000 in total in 6 separate systems, and Blender won’t even start rendering if those are in one render layer - instant crash. I have to render as 6 layers + object layer, and it takes 15 minutes to render just one frame, when real render time for that frame (not including building time) is like 20-30 seconds for RTX 3090 Ti?
I can’t afford to render three seconds of animation for 40 hours.
Is there any way to avoid that? Like caching full BVH data to disc by same way, or something like that?
