I’m just starting with blender. I ripped some meshes for armor/clothing from a game and would like to sculpt them to fit a different character model. Any tips on good tutorials for this? Shrinkwrap doesn’t work because it flattens everything. I wish there was a way to have shrinkwrap maintain thickness but doesn’t seem like there is. Moving individual faces is painfully long. It seems like there should be some way to have it detect collisions so that you can’t move the clothing through the model’s mesh. Is that possible? Any tips would be greatly appreciated.
Did you try to enter offset value in shrink wrap modifier. You can put space between wrapped object and target object. It will work for clothing.
Armor is different. You don’t want to flatten those. Its possible to shape those with proportional editing.
